| Description | INVITATION FOR BIDS Date: 28.03.2024 Bid Reference No: XEN-EHV-02-2024 1. National Transmission & Despatch Co. Ltd (NTDC) ?the Employer?, invites sealed bids from eligible firms or persons licensed by Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) in appropriate category, through National Competitive Bidding (NCB) Single Stage-Single Envelope (SSSE) procedure for the execution of following work for which necessary funds are available: Tender No. XEN-EHV-RWP-02-2024: Relocation of Existing 500kV S/C Tower No. 1C from T-4 Power House to T-4 Switchyard due to Interception of water flow from Low Level Outlets, Under Deposit Work of WAPDA 2. Bidders may obtain further information from the office of Employer at: Executive Engineer (EHV-I) NTDC, T/L?C? Division, F-519, Capt. Aleem Shaheed Road, Satellite Town, Rawapindi. The bidder as a main contractor (as single entity or as JV partner or approved subcontractor) must have substantially completed construction contract(s) of similar nature of following: ? One (1) 500kV or higher voltage or three (3) 220kV or higher bundled transmission lines of 2 km strung by controlled tension method during last five (05) years. *If the Bidder has executed these contract(s) as a JV partner, he shall have carried out all the activities mentioned here before. *For purpose of this clause, the experience shall be evidenced through Completion Certificates/Taking over Certificates etc. showing substantial completion of works. ? The bidder shall have experience of piling work in running river during the last (05) five years. ii. Such transmission lines must have been operating successfully for at least two (02) years prior to deadline for submission of Bids. iii. In case the bid is submitted by a joint venture, lead partner shall meet above experience criteria. iv. Each JV partner other than the lead partner must have completed as a main contractor, JV partner or approved sub-contractor construction contract(s) of similar nature of 220kV or higher bundled voltage transmission lines of at least 1 km strung by controlled tension method during last ten five (05) years. v. The Bidder shall submit with the Bid evidence in this regard including inter alia copies (with English translation) of the contract agreement(s), substantial completion certificate(s) and Defects Liability Certificate, duly notarized, for the contract(s). 4. All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security in the amount not less than Rs. 1,800,000/- of total bid price of respective lot in Pak. Rupees in the form of Deposit at Call or a Bank Guarantee issued by a Scheduled Bank in Pakistan in favour of the Employer valid for a period up to twenty-eight (28) days beyond the bid validity date. 5. Complete set of bidding documents may be purchased by interested Bidder(s) on submission of a written application and payment of non-refundable fee of Rupees 3,000/- in the form of cash or bank draft from any scheduled bank in Pakistan in favor of ?XEN (EHV-I) NTDCL RWP? along with documentary evidence to prove their eligibility to meet the required qualification criteria. Last date for issuance of bidding document will be 15.04.2024 (03:00 pm). 6. The bids must be delivered to the above office on or before 16.04.2023 at 11:00 am and will be opened at 11:30 pm on the same day in presence of bidder?s representatives who choose to attend at the same address. 7. Purchaser reserves the right to reject all bids and to annul bidding process at any time prior to contract award as defined in Clause 33(1) of Public Procurement Rules 2004.
